Lost for words
This has to be some kind of joke?
Right?
It's all an elaborate ruse and in a couple of days, after we've all blogged about it, they'll turn round and say “You didn't seriously think we were this out of touch did you? Suckers!”
Please tell me that's what's going to happen.

It's a small world
So, not only does something I can see from my front room window end up on Neatorama, but the site that they link to (Around The World) is running Drupal.
Of course, now I have to link to my ObSharkPic.

I'm going to Pluto
I had completely forgotten about filling in the form on the NASA site for the New Horizons mission to Pluto, but lo and behold there I am!
Myself and over 430,000 other names have been inscribed on a CD attached to the spacecraft, which is currently approaching Jupiter for a gravity assisted slingshot to the outer reaches of our Solar System. We're due to arrive around July 2016.

One of those evenings
You ever have one of those evenings that was weird, interesting, funny, captivating, heartfelt, cool and completely blew your mind... all at the same time?

Surreal math humour
I've been playing around with reddit as a filter for news (triggered by Gus Mueller's brief post about dissatisfaction with slashdot and digg) and came across this fantastically weird and surreal comic by Randall Munroe.
(If someone could explain this one to me I'd be most grateful. It's been a while since I've done any chemistry)
My favourite so far is Schrödinger's Comic, but Pillar is coming a close second, and I still haven't finished going through the archives.
Well worth adding to your daily feeds.
