Microsoft confirms changes to Internet Explorer

Microsoft have confirmed the changes that they'll be making to Internet Explorer after losing the case to Eolas.

Details of the new user experience are available at MSDN. Apple have also posted a page outlining the changes. Basically it looks like all externally referenced content that is pulled in through ActiveX controls will now have a confirmation popup by default.

Mezzoblue has a little summary on the fallout of this. (as an aside I forgot how nice looking that site is!). Cheers for the pointer sniffles.
