The Music Piracy Myth

Great followup post on the Interesting-people list from George Ziemann who, in October last year, found that his own recordings (yep, his bands own stuff that they had produced themselves) were being banned from Ebay because he was selling them on CD-R’s (further background on Wired).

George’s post goes into some more analysis of the RIAA’s position on music piracy, and why their views fall down so badly. A must read.
