Hi, I'm Garrett.

I'm a web developer / designer type person. I've always been a bit of a generalist, but I especially like delving into issues around content strategy, and helping companies be good citizens of the web.

I built my first site back in 1996. Some might say it's been downhill since then.

My skills include Django, Wagtail, Python, some Javascript (although I'm not a big fan), content strategy and governance, user experience design, information architecture, system administration and devops.

I've led some teams in my time. They seemed to like me.

I've given some talks, but I don't really do that any more.

Outside of work I'm one of the cat herders for Digital Oxford.

I take a lot of photographs, and own an unhealthy amount of old film cameras.

My guitar playing is terrible.

I really don't like writing these things.
