Usability goes all the way. It starts right at the database design. Or actually even at the design of the programming language. Most people, working on system that can use a grain of usability, tend to think that usability is only and merely a magical trade of arranging elements on an interface. But, if the database architecture is wrong, the code will be wrong. If the code is wrong, the behaviour is wrong. And if the behaviour is wrong, then no javascript can ever solve the real problem.

Finally got round to updating to Drupal 5.1. I've done some pretty thorough testing and it all looks good, but if you notice anything strange please leave me a comment (which are no longer moderated, thanks to the new captcha, we'll see how long that lasts).

Now that I'm up to date expect to see some changes in the near future. There's a new theme in the works and some toys that I've been wanting to roll out, but could only do on 5.x

Caveat: The appearance of said theme and toys depends wholly on how much free time I have in the next few months.

Google will be sponsoring 20 Drupal projects as part of their Summer Of Code this year, that's a phenomenal result for the Drupal community.
